The vehicle suspension and damping characteristics are idealized to be linear. The bridge is a finite length , uniform section simply supported beam .In the process ,the equations of motion are decoupled in terms of generalized coordinates .Accordingly , the state-space approach and the iterative equivalent linearization technique are applied for solving the problems .
