In this research, we used bromide monomers which had two hydroxy1 groups in the synthesis of aqueous PU, and approached the influence of structure and physical properties of PU with different synthetic procedures and kind of soft segments and molecular weight of soft segments and bromide monomers. Then we used aqueous PU which had best anti-flammable properties in the application of finishing fabrics, and approached its practicability.
We firstly indentified structure of those aqueous PU then inspected the influence of synthetic procedures and different monomers on structure-physical property's correlation. lastly applied to finishing fabrics.
We detected better physical properties in T2000B-Dsynthetic procedure. When we used bromide monomer in the synthesis procedures. the PU film brought poor molecular align and advance peak of crack.
In kind of soft segments' we used PCL 2000 as soft segment that had better stresses and Young's modulus and conspicuous prostrate point, and used PEG 2000 as soft segment which had worst stresses and strains. In LOI test, we used PEG 1000 as soft segment had best LOI value, others tiny apart, increasing molecular weight of soft segment increasing the LOI of PU film.
Continuously, We inspected the influence of different bromide monomers, and found with BBPD as bromide monomer in synthesis PU had better physical properties and tiny lower than DBD.
In the application, we add additive agent to PU emulsion, then the casting film which had multiple effects in LOI value, and increasing quantity of additive (F-1000) agent, increasing LOI and water resistance of fabrics but decreasing water vapor permeability.
