Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 農業工程研究所 === 83 === Swine waste water is one of the major factor that pollutes the irrigation water. Too much swine waste will cause great damage to the crops and potential danger to soil and groundwater. However, adequate amount of swine waste can enhane the growth of crops. In this study, we used lysimeter to irrigate different concentrations of swine waste into soil. The percolation drainage experiment and water quality analysis were conducted to analyze the influence of swine waste on the irrigation water, soil and groundwater. At the same time, the irrigation water and groundwater quality are analyzed in an experimental area that is serious pollution of swine waste in Ping-Ton. To understand the transportation of nitrogen in the soil, the miscible displacement experiment is also executed with soil samples. Several conclusion were made as follows: percolation drainage experiment indicated that no negative impact on the yield of rice in the cases which swine waste with nitrogen concentration lower than 10 milligram.div.liter under condition that did not use fertilization. However, irrigating with concentration of total nitrigen more than 10 milligram.div. liter had an evil effect on soil phyical properties. It is significant that irrigation with 50 milligram.div.liter of total nitrigen will cause saturated hydraulic conductivity of soil to descend. In the lysimeter experiment, it was found that heavy metal had over 90 percent accumulation of copper in soil. Nitrate had a higer moving velocity than ammonium in soil by the soil samples experiment. Because nitrite was a negatively charged anion would be have a repulsive force with the clay particle, ammonium would be adsorbed by soil. The amount of nitrate was more than the amount of ammonium in the swine waste polluted area in Ping-Ton,but still did not exceed the standard which may be hazard to human health.
