In order to understand the characteristic of the numerical model, we studied limits in space discretizations.Simulation results show that different types of numerical conductivity averaging scheme have great influence on wetting front moving velocity. Gemetric was proved to be most appropriate among the nine kin weighting coefficients must be positive. A preliminary study about two phase (water-air) flow is also carried out.
