For this investigation, two sets of RC blocks are under accelerated corrosion by impressed anodic current.Using open circuit potential method(OCP),direct current polarization method(DC), alternative current impedance method(AC) and impact-echo method to detect the rebar corrosion of RC blocks. Some results are drawn from this study as followings: 1.The corrosive damage of specimen can be evaluated from the comparison between analystic method and relative amplitude.The DC method is under estimated the phenomena of corrosive damage. 2. There is a linear relationship between corrosion thickness and relative amplitude. This can directly response the degree of corrosive damage. 3.In the acceleration spectrum,if one makes some reasonable assumptions and uses a suitable analytic process, then the results of corrosive damage can be expressed in quantities.
