multimedia computer assisted learning (CAL) system for the
course of Living Technology. A screen printing process was
identified as an exemplary unit for developing the system.
In designing this system, the activity-oriented features of
Living Technology lessons were considered. Meanwhile,
interactive user interfaces were also implemented.
Furthermore, the framework and appropriateness of applying
multimedia computer assisted learning systems in Living
Technology courses were discussed.
Document analysis and prototyping method were employed
in this research to construct the CAL system. The system
was then tested and evaluated by a panel of experts and a
group of selected users.
The conclusions arrived in this research are as the
followings:
1. The components of a multimedia computer assisted learning
system applied in the Living Technology course.
2. The model for developing the multimedia computer assisted
learning system applied in the Living Technology course.
3. Producing process of the multimedia computer assisted
learning system.
4. Appropriateness of applying the multimedia computer
assisted learning systems in the Living Technology course.
5. The potential applications of multimedia computer
assisted learning system in Living Technology lessons.
