In this research, a new model of articulated vehicle is presented which both tractor and trailer with an actively steering front wheels. In the past, many authors studied the articulated vehicles handling problems. According to previous studies, the traditional model has the drawbacks on increasing lateral force, and large turning radius. The new proposed model could obtain the improvement. In this study, basic analytical result for the dynamic stability for articulated vehicle with multi-axle-steering is studied in detail by using the symbolic manipulation program MACSYMA. The performance characteristics; including dynamic stability analysis, lane change, turning analysis, are investigated and illustrated using the IMSL software. 吳德和 1995 學位論文 ; thesis 77 zh-TW
