Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 科學教育研究所 === 83 === A rule-based computer assisted learning software of diagnosing
junior high school students'' conceptual development in
stoichiometric problem solving was designed in this research.
The research subjects were four second year junior high school
students. Besides the subjects'' operation of this computer system,
the structured interviews between the subjects and the researcher
were recorded for further understanding the subjects'' learning
processes in stoichiometry.
According to the research data, five discoveries were made:
(1)students had two different kinds of learning style. (2)among
the subjects, there were fixed processes in solving the
stoichiomeric questions. (3)the rule-based computer assisted
learning system contributed to the students'' conceptual change.
(4)task analysis is a contributing factor to the understanding
of the students'' conceptual framework. (5)the one who could solve
the stoichiomeric questions successfully were not necessarily the
one who understood the concepts.
There were positive proofs of indicating the relation between the
junior high school students'' concepts and strategies in
stoichiometric problem-solving. Therefore, the teaching strategies
for integrating the students'' learning concepts, the students''
completely learning in concepts, and the effective learning in
the future researches should be emphasized.
