碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 資訊科學學系 === 83 === This study is aimed at designing and implementing a relational database management system with security and integrity features. First, We discuss some related properties. The security of database systems focuses on four subjects: user authentication, authorization control, crypto-based control, and management control. And the integrity of database systems includes four topics: constraint types, constraint specification, constraint preprocessing, and constraint enforcement. Then, referring to the architecture of conventional database management systems and considering some factors of security and integrity, we design and implement a relational database management system with security and integrity features, called RDBsin(a Relational DataBase management system with Security and INtegrity).In views of design, the system uses modularization methods with top-down and bottom-up concept. And in views of implementation, the system adopts structured programming and windows programming techniques, thus providing a friendly graphic user interface.
