This thesis is a priori research of "Platform and Development
Environment of Integrated Telecommunications Network Management
System." A generic system architecture for fault management in
fault localization method is needed to identify th The major
contributions of this thesis are: (1) Proposing a generic
system architecture of fault management in telecommunications
network to help the developing of network management platform
in the future. (2) Proposing a method to resolve the alarm
correlation and network fault localization problem. This method
could be applied to multiple faults problem.
