coefficients (K2) with field experiments in tidal river in this
study. Ethylene was used as the tracer gas and Rhodamine B as
the dispersion-dilution tracer. In result, the predicted

predict the variation of water quality, the average tidal
velocity, depth of water, wind velocity and conductivity were
used as independent variable, which may be taken regression by
stepwise variable selection. The relationship is shown below
K2(20oC) = 5.85U - 3.79H + 0.24Cond U:the average tidal
velocity (m/sec) H:depth of water (m). Cond:conductivity (ms/
