Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 環境工程研究所 === 83 === The concentrations and characteristics of sixteen polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)in the exhaust were measured at the tail pipe of a gasoline engine. the three controlled operation parameters were engine speed(1000 to 3000 rpm),loading(0 to 3.8 apm),and throtle opening(0 to 100%). Premium and 95-Lead free gasolines were used in this study. Results show that all three parameters have distinct effects on the emission of PAHs. At higher engine speeds PAHs with higher molecular weights, which are more carcinogenic, tend to dominate in the exhaust. At the same engine speed,PAHs increase with loading and throttle opening. When both loading and throttle opening are kept the same, totol PAHs remain pratically constant, however, the distributions in gas and particle phase change with engine speed. The emission coefficient is found to range from 227 to 1562 ug/Nm3. The peak value was found at 1500 rpm.
