The study can be classified into three major parts. First of all ,model were used to analyze the results of incineration of CH3SH and (CH3)2S. Secondary, the differences of the efficiency of catalytic incineration between binary mixtures of these sulphur compounds (CH3SH/C2H5SH, CH3SH/(CH3)2 S, CH3SH/(CH3)2S2) with sing A differential reactor design was used for best fit of kinetic model in this study. The results show that the Langmuir- Hinshelwood model is suitable for the catalytic incineration of both CH3SH and (CH3)2S. This suggests that the adsorption of VOC or O2 molecule is very important in the oxidation CH3SH and (CH3)2S. In the mixture of CH3SH and C2H5SH, catalytic incine- ration of CH3SH is significantly inhibited by C2H5SH, however, incineration of C2H5 SH is not affected by CH3SH.(C2H5)2S2 , one of the intermediates of oxidation of C2H5SH, is found by GC/MS. In the mixture of CH3SH and (CH3)2S, catalytic incineration of both items are inhibited by each other. In the mixture of CH3SH and (CH3)2S2,catalytic incineration of CH3SH is inhibited by (CH3)2 S2, however, the changs of catalytic incineration of (CH3)2S2 is difficult to tell because it is the intermediate of oxidation of CH3SH.
