Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 建築研究所 === 83 === It is based on the conviction that spatial design can play
significant role in preventing crimes, particularly those
releated to house intrusion, this thesis attempts a guidelines
for architects to design a more secure living environments.
This study is empirically grounded. those cases of intrusion
type of crime in the last few years in Taiwan are carefully

ways of intrusion and building types, spatial layouts, as well
as urban context. A system of norms and rules regarding
security design for housing are devised. Several key notions
are central to the environmental security as the results of
this study: territoriality, surveillance, neighborhoods,
facility, target enforcement, potential hiding places and above
