Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 材料科學(工程)研究所 === 83 === The aim of this study is to find the influences of various plasma spray parameters on the properties of bond coat and the performance of TBCs. In the part Ⅰ of this study, three kinds of Ni-22Cr-10Al-1Y powders of the three different particle size were deposited by APS and VPS processes with various parameters. The surface roughness and porosity of coats were quantitatively evaluated. The results showed tha t surface roughness of Ni-22Cr-10Al-1Y coating increased with the porosity content. Coatings sprayed by VPS were much denser than the APS coatings and contained almost no oxides in VPS coatings. In the part Ⅱ of this study, eight sets of APS parameters were chosen for spraying Ni22Cr10Al1Y as bond coat for the application to TBCs. TBCs specimens with bond coat sprayed by different APS parameters were evaluated by a thermal cyclic test at 1000℃. The results of thermal cyclic test showed bond coat with the lowest porosity and surface roughness caused TBCs to fail at the between the top coat and the bond coat; and TBCs with a bond coat of high surface roughness and unmelted particles would tend to at the interface between the substrate and the bond coat . The TBC specimen with bond coat of moderate porosity content and roughness had the best cyclic life, and failure did not occurred cycles at 1000℃.
