碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 應用數學研究所 === 83 === In this paper, we are adopting the concept of locally developed optimal tests and their extensions for circular data. The problem under discussion is that whether a circular random sample is from the uniform distribution or from others. We are considering the problem of uniformity against offset normal distribution and the problem of uniformity against cardioid distribution and applying the locally optimal tests to do a good job. Some optimal properties are also explored in this paper.
