Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 農藝學系 === 83 === Visible damanges leaves occur when plants to high concentr- ations of SO2. In this study, soybean, peanut, sorghum and corn plants were expoxed to 1.5 ppm SO2 over a period of 8 days and the rate of CO2 exchange and several physiological parameters related to CO2 exchange were examined. The results indicated that SO2 fumigation inhabited leaf CO2 exchange rate (CER) of the plant by decomposing chlorophyll and soluble protein and decreasing stomatal and mesophyll conductance. SO2 fumigation also inhabited light and dark reactions of photosynthesis. Significant differences in leaf CER and several related phylogi- cal traits existed among the four crops, with sorghum and peanut plants tended to SO2 fumigation than corn and soybean plants.
