Summary: | 博士 === 國立政治大學 === 教育學系 === 83 === The main puopose of this study was to reconfirm the validity of
"The Test of Teachers' Moral Rasoning" (TTMR). Different
scales were used and an experiment with moral cognition
instruc- tion was also used to collect data. Samples included
teachers and education students of National Pingtung Teachers'
College, teachers of Kaohsiung Normal University, graduate
students of Chengchi University, and primary school teachers in
Pingtung and Kaohsiung. T-test, Pearson Product Moment method,
ANOVA and ANCOVA were used to analyze the data. The main
results were: 1.) The TTMR scores were in accorance with
subjects' levels of training in education. 2.) The higher the
primary school teachers' TTMR scores, the more accurately they
understand edu- cation. 3.) The TTMR was positively related to
the Self- actualization Value Inventory. 4.)The TTMR was not
related to the Democratic Attitude Inventory. 5.) Moral
Cognition Instuction did not improve students' TTMR scores.
