In this work ,diferrocenyl compounds (FeCpC5H4SMe)2PdCl2, (FeCpC5H4SPh)2 PdCl2 and (FeCpC5H4SCH2Ph)2PdCl2 were synthesized. Me-SMe- bridged compound shows two sets of reversible waves in its cyclic voltammogram. whereas the -SPh- and -SCH2Ph- bridged analogues show four sets.It has been found that good electronic communication,△E1/2= 255 mV,exists in all cases, and that the mixed-valence compound will be more stable if an electron donor envolved in the bridge.
