Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 機械工程研究所 === 83 === A prototype is an essential step in the manufacturing of consumer and industrial parts, so a technique for surface topography measurement of objects becomes very important and practical in reverse engineering. The methods of profile measurement include the contact-probe-type system and noncontact laser-baseed system. The technique, is based on the principle of measuring profilometry with a projectedlaser stripe onto a 3-d object and acquiring a brighter laser stripe through a CCD to construct a free curve by mapping a function between the world coordinate and the image coordinate. The measurement system consist of optical set and the a transporting mechanism with accuracy location and translation ability. Select five correcting spots from five different surfaces include the front, back, left side, right side, and top region of the measured object. Before scanneing every surface, it need to correct the relation between image plane and world coordinate by correcting spot. After obtaining all coordinate of five separate surfacees, the data should be connected to obtain the complete profile of the object. Since that the scanned object does not move during the measuring process, This method is suitable for quickly and efficiently measuring the profile of an object which is to move.
