The effects of the geometrical structure of the catalyst on reactions were studied by performing Monte Carlo simulations of the diffusion-limited reaction over surfaces of different fractal objects modeling the different geometry of catalysts. Various effects caused by different fractal dimensions, cluster sizes and, sticking probabilities were examined. In order to mimic the autocatalytic reaction and auto-poisoned process, enhanced and decaying-type sticking probability functions were adopted. Multifractal techniques were carried out on the reaction probability distributions to further analyze the effects of those factors on the catalytic reactions.
