碩士 === 淡江大學 === 資訊工程研究所 === 82 === With the advances of hardware and software, computer is not merely a number computing machine. The multimedia application systems that combine text, audio, image, video and animation, have made the application of computers much more widely and user friendly. Conventionally, to construct a presentation system, the first step is create a script that will specify the ways we want it to be shown. Then we type it into computer, performing appropriate formatting, scaling, cropping, and finally, come out with plain output. We may manually add some audio explanation by using recorder. However, the whole process is rather time consuming. In the thesis, We propose a multimedia application developing environment. It can show every media simultaneous. The thesis describes an application environment with concepts of hypertext. Using this environment, we may construct presentation, explication systems very easily. We provide a very high level language to specify the ways that we want various media to be shown. The multimedia developing environment is based on the model of hypertext. We use linkage to connect objects. The connection of objects is naturally and clearly. The dynamic output of this system can be create by its audio output function on an exhibition and saving screen as image file for static report application. This system enhanced its power in Chinese font creation and transformation for local area demand and most of Chinese people needed.
