Summary:碩士 === 淡江大學 === 建築(工程)學系 === 82 === This reaserch attemps to explore the feasibility of " Incentive System for Improvements of the Open Space of Building "by identifying the mechanism of environment and the confrontation to the existing incentive system through the investigation and data statistics from documentation on current open space; and by applying the method of "environment mechanism structure readjust -ment" to develop screening approaches and executive strategies of improvement options. Then, a complete improvement option formed via integration of all executive strategies is put through the impact analysis and feasibility evaluation to establish the promotion modes and executive particulars for such an option with the hope to build up a sound mode of reformation serving as the foundation to propel quality improvements of the present environment. Chapter 1:describes the motif, scope, contents, methodology, and configuration of the research as well as the documentation retrospectives. Chapter 2:develops the core ideology out of related theories of the documentation thus basing on such ideology to define the terminology and further to establish the basic configuration for this research. Chapter 3:explores into the domestic incentive system available for the open space by entering from thelegally ranking relation of incentive system for the open space, comparing the systems practised locally and abroad, and analyzing the results of implementation. Chapter 4:formulates the descriptive mode for the environmental mechanism of the open space in terms of policy, statutory provisions, behaviour and human nature; pries into the structural relationship of the exsiting mechanism of environment and causes triggering off confrontation within such structure and further examines orientation for the improvement of the mechanism of environment. Chapter 5:looks for the screening approaches of improvement options following the orientation concluded for Chapter 4 for to construct a sound
