At the Mn and Ge K-edge, the absorption spectra are analyzed with a description of local atomic structure based on the Mackay Icosahedral Model. Furthermore, we use the fitting method to deduce the coordinate numbers, bond distance and Debye-waller factors of the first-neighbor of Mn and Ge. In the case of the Pd L3-edge analysis, we find the density of 4d unoccupied stateds above the Fermi level have no change between two different quasicrystals.
