operation problem by using the " interactive multiobjective
programming method ". In order to obtain the objective function
and constraint completely, we discussed the objective functions
used in solving the water resources problem which are all
involved in the literature review. Taking the Feitsui reservoir
operation as a case study in this paper , the " Interactive
CONWEIGHT algorithm" was applied to seek the solution for the
multiobjective problem such as public water supply , hydraulic
power generation , maintaining reservoir water level , dilution
for river channel downstream, etc. And this method was
developed by Hsu, J.Y. and Tzeng, Y.R. At the procedure of
decision , the decision-maker shows whether the value of each
objective for each calculation are satisfied or not . Under the
opinion from the decision-maker, it would be improved step by
step till the most satisfactory case was obtained. And this
result could be as the reference for the reservoir operation.
In this study, the inflow data in 1992 which close to the
averge value and in the droughtest year 1993 were used to solve
the problem . Comparing the results from calculation with real
operation , it could be certain that there still have much
ameliorable space to cope with the more demand of water
resources in the future for each objective which mentioned
above .
