It would get over 6000-fold purifica- tion enzyme by ion-exchange chromatography, Concanavalin A- Sepharose affinity chromatography and melibiosamine affinity column. The following properties of the two froms of alpha-galacto- sidase were studied : (1). pH optimum, (2). pH stability, (3). heat stability, (4). Km, (5). inhibitions of various inhibitors, (6). the hydration of nature substrate, and (7). molecular weight. The form2 alpha- galactosidase also conversed human- blood-group B to O-type.
