Summary: | 碩士 === 東海大學 === 化學工程研究所 === 82 === Oxidative carbonylation of aniline to ethyl phenyl carbamate (
EPC ) over manganese catalyst is the key step for the pre-
paration of methyl diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) via nonphosgene
route. The effect of catalyst load, temperature, oxygen partial
pre- ssure, carbon monoxide partial pressure, solvents and
promoters on the activity and selectivity of aniline
carbonylation has been investigated under the condition
of 25 ∼ 130 kilo- gram per square centimeter, 90 ℃ ∼ 190
℃. The reaction rate increase with the increase ofcarbon
monoixde and oxygen partial pressure, and the bestreaction
condition for selectivity and activity has been found to be at
T=170℃, Pco=61.3 kilogram per squrare centimeter and PO2=3.7
kilogram per square centimeter. Conversion increase linearly
with catalyst load, and the real active compound for the
catalytic system has been found to be Mn(CO)5Br.
