Summary:碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 應用化學系 === 82 === A Multimedia Computer Assisted Learning Software is designed in this research. The teaching content focuses on the molecular symmetry part in the undergraduate inorganic chemistry. The molecular symmetry of Inorganic Chemistry is always a very difficult part for students because it's a new concept and it involves a lot of spatial and modeling technique. Due to the rapid development of 3D modeling techniques and multimedia tools in the computer field, we develop a CAL software especially designed for the undergraduate junior students in the Chemistry Department to help them understand the molecular symmetry, and their learning process is recorded. In addition, the Field-independent/Field dependent test and the data of recording learning process are included to be analized in this research. As a result, we can judge what kind of learners is fit to this software and what blind spots students face in their learning process. According to this, teachers can take it as the reference in education and as the target of practicing remedial teaching.
