Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 纖維工程技術系 === 82 === The effects of structure and water content on the penetrant transport properties and solute diffusion behavior of inhomogeneous, ionic poly (acrylonitrile-co-acrylamide-co- acrylic acid) hydrogels were investigated. The swelling kinetics of water in the initially glassy polymers were followed. Influences of temperature on diffusion mechanism of benzoic acid in swollen hydrogels is analyzed by the free volume. The results of swelling measurements showed that the initial sorption rate of penetrant in glassy polymers were reduced with increasing water content of hydrogels. The penetrant transport mechanism of the highly crosslinked hydrogels exhibited anomalous type. Both the swelling-related free volume of hydrogels and thermal effects influence diffusion behavior of solute in our systems. The solute diffusion mechanism of hydrogels with lower acrylic acid content deviates free volume theory. The mesh size of hydrogels was increased with increasing water content of hydrogels developed by scaling law. An increase in mesh size promoted the motion of solute, resulting in an increase in solute diffusion coefficient.
