Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 護理學研究所 === 82 === The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of the systematic nursing instruction on the patients'' homecare cognition, needs, satisfaction and psychological perception after bone marrow transplantation. A two-group quasi- experimental design was conducted for this study. The subjects of this research were 40 patients who had undergone bone marrow transplantation and were followed up at the outpatient department of a medical center in Taipei. The patients were assigned to two groups according to the time sequence of discharge. There were twenty patients in the experimental group received systematic nursing instruction from the researcher, and twenty patients in the control group. The effects of systematic nursing instruction on the patients'' cognition, needs, satisfaction and psychological perception were examined by the questionnaires. The evaluation was performed before and one month later the subjects receiving instruction. The results of the study revealed that bone marrow transplantation patients had a high needs level, low satisfaction status and less cognition about homecare. The systematic nursing instruction was effective in improving patients'' cognition, needs and satisfaction level. But there was no significant difference on psychological perception between the two groups. Overall, this study demonstrates that positive benefits were achieved from the use of systematic nursing instruction as appling to the clinical setting.
