system is based on the client-server model of the traditional
Internet news system and include multimedia features such as
image, graphics, audio, video and multi-lingual (English and
Chinese) text. The system provides all the authoring tools for
composing, editing and browsing the multimedia articles. It
also supports Multimedia E-mail tool such that users can send a
multimedia article to other people. The system is currently
implemented on SUN workstations with X-window environment and
using Open Look as its graphical user interface.
