world are faced with the problem of aging. In Taiwan,most of
the healthy old people are very willing to work. But we didn''t
plan for them. This paper focus on the view of employment of
the aging people, and draw the following conclusions: 1.The
performance declines very slightly with age, while not so
serious as that of the age-stereotype. And the expenences of
workers can compensate this storage. 2.With stronger
participative motives, older workers get lower avoidable
absence; while deficit on the health, older works are to be
absent due to sickness. 3.The older workers get lower rate of
turnover 4.The carefulness and experiences make older workers
get lower rate of work-place accidents.
