Summary:碩士 === 國立海洋大學 === 航運技術研究所 === 82 ===   The performance of a software-implemented Gaussian-filtered minimum shift keying (GMSK) modualtor with one-bit diffrerntial detection is analyzed under fast Rayleigh fading and 2-Ray frequency-selective fading channels.   An versatile algorithm, developed to generate GMSK baseband signal with various parameters of BbT, is particularly useful to real time simulation purpose. Probabilities of bit error rate (BER) are evaluated to different fading rates and relative excess delays in which the multipath fading channel is characterized.   Furthemore, the limitations of allowable fading to transmitted bit rate ratio, fdT, are investigated, by using a simple one-bit differential detection in which the irreducible BFR''s are indicated.
