The natural frequencies and mode shapes were solved by distributed-mass transfer matrix method and the boundary conditions at fore and after ends were applied. The equations of motion in global coordinate system were derived using Hamilton's variational principle. Then, the discontinuities between ship segments, the strengthened effect of the cross decks, the horizontal vibration added mass and the torsional added polar moment of inertia were considered. The analysis results of a box beam with opening in this paper show good coincidence by comparied with the results of the referance[11]. W.H.Wang 王偉輝 1994 學位論文 ; thesis 47 zh-TW
