Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中山大學 === 機械工程研究所 === 82 === The effects of profile shifted factors, tip relief and hardness adjustment on the operating life of an involute gear pair are investigated in this study. The bending fatigue and surface durability of the engaged gear pair are the key consideration. The linear and parabolic tip relief models are employed in the dynamic load, bending and Hertz contact stress analyses. A proper increasing of the hardness of pinion is proposed to reach an eaqual life between the pinion and gear. The allowable stresses and factors proposed by the ANSI/AGMA 2001-B88,ISO/DIS 6336/2 and ISO/DP 6336/3 codes are used in this analysis respectively. Numerical examples are employed to illustrate the effectiveness of this study.
