Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 輔導學系 === 82 === The purposes of this study was to understand the college students'''' knowledge about/attitude toward about the counseling services, and the relations between them, and to find out the influential differences of the personal variables,such as grade, sex,course taking on psychology,and experience of counseling,on both their knowelege and attitude.The 1745 subjects of this study were randomly selected from the colleges all over in Taiwan, and they were given and inventory scale of knowledge about and attitude toward counseling service.For the data analysis the ANOVA,Pearson Product-moment Correlation,and T-test were used. 1.The students'''' knowledge about counseling services in the scale yield a score of 2.919,which was under the average mean score 3.0.As to the result on the subscale, the knowledge about the position counseling center and the functions of its services were the lowest. 2.The students'''' attitude toward the counseling services reached only at 2.712 on the scale,it was approximate to the midpoint 3.0. The need for counseling services on the subscale was very low. 3.With regard to the personal variables,there were significant differences among them regarding the knowledge about the counseling services.Student of the lower grades,male students, and those who did not attend courses in psychology and those had no experience in counseling, were less clear about counseling services. 4.All the personal variables,except the variable of taking or not courses in psychology, showed significant difference on their attitudes toward the counseling services.Student of higher grades, male student ,and those who never visited the counseling center ,showed a negative attitude toward counseling services. 5.In gerenal,there was a positive correlation between the knowledge about and attitude about the counseling services.The better the students knew about the counseling services,the more positive attitude they had toward them.
