Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 輔導學系 === 82 === The purposes of this study were to design an Adlerian group counseling program for decreasing inferiority feeling and im- proving misbehavior of the junior high school students, and to evluate the effects of this program. A "pretest-posttest control-group research design" was adopted. Ten pairs of the second grade students of the junior high school were matched according to scores of the scales, gender, sibling order, parents live together, and were randomly assigned into experimental and control group. The experimental group received 8 weeks , 17 sessions of the Adlerian group counseling program. The control group received the same treatment after the study. The subjects were administered "Inferiority Feeling Scale for Children" , "Thinking About Your- self", "A Class Play", and "Pupil Rating Scale". Several t-tests were adopted to analyze data obtained from above scales. The major research findings were as follows: 1.The junior high school students in the experimental group revealed more significant improvement of inferiority feeling than the students in the control group. The effects of the experi- mental group were also maintained after one month. 2.There were no significant differences on self- perception of life-adjustment between the experimental group and the control group. 3.There were no significant differences on the improvements of students'' misbehavior rated by the teachers between the experimental group and the control group. 4.Six of the students in the experimental group improved their misbehavior rated by their classmates. Three of them also maintained the effects after one month. Based on these findings, the implications and future re- search suggestions are recommended.
