So the critical element of nonprofit organization''s (NPOs) development is its fund-raising sysem. Therefore, establishing a donor database to provide complete donor information for donor is very important for NPOs. 　　The complexity of the design of donor database comes from the incomplets and incorrect source donor data. Many donors tend to not provide complete and correct data for their values. In addition, information system development for NPOs usually fail. For the lack of information profession. As a result, NPOs suffer greatly from incomplete and, often, incorrect donor database. And its fragmented and inaccurate hisorical data. 　　Basing on nonprofit organization''s charcteristics, the purpose of this research is to analysis the difficulty in establishing donor database and find some way to overcome the problem. To meet trusting specification, this research propose a multilayer data model to construct donor database. A case study of Tzu-Chi institute would be demonstrated how the model was useful in developing the intangible and complex donor database.
