ccessful management as well as the factors of
difficultiescountered. Is inquiry in also made in to dojos
of differenteas and scales of trainee enrollment, as well
as into howrketing strategies differ on the part of dojo
proprietors offferent "educational levels " and with various
"mean monthlyt income." The objects for this study are the
headmasters who currentlyve tae kwon do instruction to
trainees in dojos valid samplesaches a total of 141 persons.
The major results of the reserche as follows: The most
important top three factors in the successfulnagement o f
a dojo are: 1. the reputation of the dojo;teaching
attitude and quality; 3.the inter-personal relationsthe
proprietor. The top three factors of difficulties in theitial
stage of operations, as well as in the present stage,e:
1.the influence of the going-to-college educational
pressuretrainees; 2. difficult renting of residences;
3.difficultcruitment of trainees. Dojos of different "scales
of trainee enrollment" arrivea significant level of
difference in overall "productrategies", differences
also arrive at a significant levellace strategy".Dojos of
different "area" a significant level offference in overall
"product strategies."; Proprietors of dojosth different "mean
monthly net incomes " show a significantvel of difference in
overall"product strategies".
