碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 82 === A Multimedia Network News System was developed to support multimedia news service on the Internet. Any forms of information including text, audio, image and digitized data can be posted and read with the Multimedia Network News System. This system is further enhanced to include follow-up, mail, and questionnaire. Including the questionnaire service, the Network News System provides a convenient environment for people to do voting and opinion survey. Since the USENET is worldwide and popular, the information collected from the replies and answers of the Questionnaire System would be of high value. We also design and implement a fault-tolerance questionnaire server based on the ISIS environment to reliably keep the replies and answers. The questionnaire server is also responsible for posting the results of surveys onto the USENET.
