Those propeties were invistigated by means of apparent viscosity particle size method, scanning electrical microscopy, surface tension method, and fluoresence method, The results show that monomeric cationic surfactant have remarkable flocculating ability to silica in water system at pH=2, 7. than others, For Fe203/Water, the acrylic copolymer show better dispersing ability than the corresponding acrylamide copolymers. Also, the measurements of surface tension and fluorescence for those monomeric and polymeric surfactants were used to interpret their behaviors in water.
