Subjects were 551 undergraduates drawn from five universities in 1994. The primary findings were as follows: 1.It was found that female college students felt more happier than male students. 2.There were significant differences among ego identity status. Identity achievement was happier than the others. 3.There was a significant correlation between happiness and need of cognition. 4.There was a significant correlation between happiness and sensation seeking. 5.There was a significant correlation between happiness and esthetic experience.
