Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 機械工程研究所 === 82 === The purpose of this study is to develop an On-line scanning measurement technique for a free-form surface. The measuring facilities used are the FANUC 15M machining center, the RENISHAW scanning probe, three-axis AB phase drivers and six- axis AB phase counters. The main task is divided into three parts: (1) the hardware interface, (2) the measurement of the free-form surface, and (3) the edge detector. On the hardware interface the speed of measurement is is increased for directly controlling the driver of the machining center, and the difference of displacement between the machining center and the scanning probe can be disregarded because of the six-axis counters having been latched at same time. Especially, it can also be used the other types of controllers, e.g., the coordinate measuring machine(CMM). A continuously forecasting path was used to measure the free-form surface; then, the algorithm of a Cubic Spline was used to compensate for the probe error after the measurement. A new method is proposed to successfully solve the edge problem for measuring objects through the scanning probe. This method is implemented via this experiment.
