synthesized by using digital methods, so the digital signal
processing and its applications play an inportant role in the
modern communication. In this thesis, we simulate a digital
communication system which is constructed by using the model of
a 9600bps modem. And in the system, the modulation,
demodulation, signal space encoder, decoder, scrambler,
descrambler, equalizer, decision, waveform shaping, and
training sequence techniques are simulated. Except these, we
also simulate automatic gain control(AGC) loop, carrier
recovery loop, some filters, some control loops and the
telephone channel. This thesis construct a fundmental structure
of a digital communications simulation system. After the whole
simulation system being constructed, we can use this system for
estimating the real performances of different communication
theorems. And the system can be used in the communication
education in universities. It can help students to realized the
theorems they have learned.
