Summary: | 碩士 === 中原大學 === 化學工程研究所 === 82 === A series of polyamide-imides has been synthesized by the direct
polycondensation of the biphenyl diimide-diacid with aromatic
diamine using triphenyl-phosphite (TPP) as the condensation
agent in NMP-pyridine solution containing 3.5wt% LiCl. This
reaction was markedly facilitated to give high inherent
viscosity ( 0.24 < ηinh <2.38 ) polyamide-imides in
quantitative yield.The thermal properties of polyamide-imides
were examined by DSC and TGA. These polyamide-imides possessed
glass transition temperature in the range of 285 ~ 337℃ ,
except the BP-2 and NAI series which could not be detected by
DSC measurment. The obtained polyamide-imides exhibited
excellent heat resistance and good solubility in N- methyl-2-
pyrrolidone (NMP), dimetthyl acetamide (DMAc) , dimethyl
foramide (DMF) and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) solvent , except
BP-2 system polymers .
