Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 化學工程研究所 === 82 === TPX membranes were prepared via a wet phase inversion method in order to improve the gas flux of TPX membrane prepared by solvent evaporation method. The effects of the conditions of preparation process, casting solution and coagulation medium on the formation and gas separation performances of the membranes were investigated. The membrane formation and morphology were studied with respect to solubility parameter, surface tension and capillary force. The O2/N2 selectivity of 2.66 and pressure- normalized oxygen flux of 103×10-6cm3(STP)/cm2-sec-cmHg can be obtained for the TPX membrane prepared from 5﹪( TPX(gram)/ Chloroform(cm3) ) casting solution, first coagulation medium with 25℃ methanol, second coagulation medium with 20℃ methanol, drying membrane method was 25℃ air convective dry, and without heat treatment. The high gas flux of the membrane was rapidly decreased with storage time under 25℃ and RH40﹪. No gas flux decay with storage time was observed for the membrane with 50℃ 12hr heat treatment. The oxygen flux and O2/ N2 selectivity of the heat- treated membrane were 13.3×10-6cm3( STP)/cm2-sec-cmHg and 3.55, respectively. The gas fluxs of membranes prepared via a wet phase inversion method were much higher than that of membranes prepared by solvent evaporation method.
