Summary: | 碩士 === 元智大學 === 機械工程研究所 === 81 === The design of a CNC full-mold casting model machine was
presented. The full-mold model is an essential intermediate
process for making automotive press dies. To date, it is still
rely on manual operation which results in low efficie- ncy and
accuracy. Therefore, a CNC type full-mold model making machine
with multi-functions of measurement and mach- ining is of great
demand to the automotive die industry. System design of the
machine includes four major subsys- tems. They are mechanical
and mechanism design, PC-based CNC controller, static and
dynamics precision verification and error compensation, and
reverse-type CAD/CAM system. The mechanical and mechanism
design was analyzed by the I-DEAS CAD/CAE package for its
assembly interference check, mechan- ism simulation, static
stresses and deformation, and natural frequency modes.
Potential design defects were identified and were improved
through parameters studies. Major functio- nal requirements and
design specification of CNC controller, error compensation and
CAD/CAM subsystems were also surveyed and presented in detail.
It is believed that the machine can fulfill its original design
purposes.
