for small-or medium-sized enterprises due to market demands. A
constructed flexible manufacturing cell(FMC)which is one of
the multi-operating methods can increase productivity and
economic In this research, we examine the effects of several
factors as dispathing rule, schduling, parts arrival rate,
batches size, numbers of pallets, buffers size and wait pallets
on the loading area in a FMC through the fractional factorial
design, the of mean average,and S/N character values. Base on
the significant factors and interaction effects,we construct a
regression and validate the fitness of the metamodel. Finally,
we provide a procedure to design and analyze a fmc
systematically and set up a metamodel as a recommendation for
decision makers.
