poverty in old age which we can not avoid to face in the
life cycle. The main object of personal risk management is
to make sure of stability of family life. By using previous
planning, we can get adequate supports when we face to
risks. Insurance is the best and powerful policy to satisfy
this object. In our country, insurance contains social
insurance and life insurace. To estimate the insurance they
owned and decide adequate types and amount of insurance is
the important issue for each person. In this study, according
to personal circumstances, require- ment and the range of
socity insurance. An "LIFE INSURANCE CONSULTING SYSTEM" is
proposed to design all-purpose insurance products by using
EXSYSP, a constructing tool of expert system, and save the time
of insurance company to choose precustomer. For control
strategy, system adopted backward chaining method for
arrangement of types of insurance and products, forward
chaining method for estimation of amount of insurance,
control strategy using depth-first method as searching strategy
and a probability system which represent the need of products
is used for inference of uncertainty. The system includes an
eleme- ntary subsystem to provide the related knowledge for
insurance caution items, and an explanatory subsystem to
make users know which experience and knowledge may be used. The
final goal of the study is to assist people to construct the
correct sense of risk management, spread the exact concept of
insurance, and to make correct decision in choosing insurance,
reducing cost of medical resource. It''''s good for the
development of insurance.
