碩士 === 淡江大學 === 中國文學研究所 === 81 === In the modern history of literature , the literature in two is juged to de two major parts in Wei Tsin literature and East North Dynesties literature. But as we may see from the historical the entire political system and society during that time were in and unstable since the internal armed conflicts by the end of Han unrest from the rein of Wei Dynesty by Chao Tsao till theght kings of Wei Tsin, the trouble in Yung Chia Dynesty, and them of East Tsin Dynesty after ferried across the river. With freqent dynesty and penalties to discontented literates who discussed on literates found themselves in dangerous position and did not dare criticize political affairs. They gradually came to give up the Confucianism which advocates strict ethical education and participation in society in the interest of the people as ase Saint Lao Chuan''s world in pursuit of enjoyment in getting rid of lifetime. As a consequence, combined with the thought ofnstream of metsphysics was thus developed, mainly in abstruse talks. This review the contents of the literature by Kuo Pwu, who was born in died in Eest Tsin, and his rhetoric skillw during his lifetime in chaotic era. This essay consist of seven chapter as below, Kuo Pwu''s was riched in his talent and learning. But many of his masterpieces were lost. Therefore, we can only rely on the information coll- ected for analysis and research. It is our hope that with the study of Kuo Pwu''s poem and Fu, a closure to more about the ature in the era of Wei Tsin and South and North Dynasty will be possible to the writer and also to those who love literature.
